About
The Chintpurni (Chhinnmastika) temple stands on a low hilltop in Una district, close to the Punjab border. It is one of the Shakti Peethas of the region and is often visited together with Jwalamukhi, Kangra and Naina Devi on a temple circuit. The town around the temple is given over to pilgrim services — dharamshalas, prasad shops and cloakrooms. The Navratri fairs and the monsoon Shravan fairs bring the heaviest footfall.
