About
Solang Nala lies on the way to the Atal Tunnel and Rohtang. In winter its slopes are used for skiing and snowboarding, with lessons and gear on hire; national winter-sports events have been held here. In summer the snow retreats up the hill and the valley fills with adventure stalls — a gondola ropeway to Mount Phatru, zorbing balls, ATV rides, and short tandem paragliding flights. The lower meadow gets very crowded and commercial in peak season.
